French KS1

At this stage, children learn French through games, songs and stories. They progressively also learn to recognise the written form of some words and the sound patterns. The children love meeting new puppets every week!

My aim :

to introduce another language in a fun and enjoyable way.
to stimulate their curiosity about language.
to help the children develop their awareness of cultural differences.
to develop their speaking and listening skills.
to explore the patterns and sounds of language through songs and rhymes.
to lay the foundations for future study.

The programme I offer is designed to follow the topics the children cover with their class teacher. My programme can be adapted to your needs and the topics your school covers.
